JakartaBicara, Jakarta – Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani menjadi salah satu juri dalam ajang pemilihan Puteri Indonesia 2022. Ia pun memuji seluruh finalis Puteri Indonesia yang datang dari seluruh provinsi di Indonesia.
“Saya merasa sangat bangga karena ditunjuk sebagai salah satu juri pada pemilihan Puteri Indonesia 2022. Saya senang berkesempatan melihat banyaknya perempuan-perempuan Indonesia yang tak sekadar cantik, tapi juga inspiratif, penuh dedikasi, menguasai ilmu pengetahuan, dan memiliki banyak wawasan,” kata Puan, Sabtu (28/5/2022).
Grand Final Pemilihan Puteri Indonesia diselenggarakan di Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta Selatan, Jumat (27/5/2022) malam. Puan menjadi juri bersama Menteri Kesehatan Budi Gunadi Sadikin, aktris Anya Geraldine, Komisaris Utama PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia Triawan Munaf, dan Ketua Bidang Organisasi Yayasan Puteri Indonesia, Kusumadewi Sutanto.
Selain itu, ada pula Puteri Indonesia 2019 Frederika Alexis Cull, Miss International 2019 Sireethorn Leeramwat, Direktur PT Mustika Ratu Tbk sekaligus Ketua Panitia Pemilihan Puteri Indonesia 2022 Kusuma Ida Anjani, dan Ketua Bidang Komunikasi Yayasan Puteri Indonesia, Mega Angkasa yang turut menjadi juri.
Dalam ajang kecantikan bergengsi itu, Puan mendapat giliran memberi pertanyaan di babak 6 besar. Ia memberi pertanyaan untuk Melanie Theresia yang merupakan finalis Puteri Indonesia dari Jawa Barat.
“Di tahun-tahun mendatang ibu kota Indonesia secara bertahap akan dipindahkan ke Kalimantan. Menurut Anda, peluang apa yang akan dibawa bagi Bangsa kita dalam ekonomi, pariwisata, dan budaya?” tanya Puan kepada Melanie Theresia.
Pertanyaan Puan pun dijawab dengan menggunakan Bahasa Inggris.
“Berpindahnya ibu kota negara Indonesia saya yakin merupakan kesempatan yang bagus untuk memberdayakan stabilitas ekonomi dalam hal logistik, pariwisata dan infrastruktur,” jawab Melanie.
Proses seleksi pemilihan Puteri Indonesia terbilang cukup ketat. Para finalis lainnya mendapat pertanyaan seperti soal kecantikan modern, makna semboyan Bangsa Indonesia ‘Bhinneka Tunggal Ika’, hingga isu Indonesia yang akan menjadi presidensi G20, permasalahan stunting, dan kebijakan pelonggaran protokol kesehatan.
Setelah tahap selanjutnya, terpilihlah Laksmi Shari De Nefee Suardana sebagai Puteri Indonesia 2022. Finalis asal Bali itu menggantikan Roro Ayu Maulida Putri untuk mengemban tugas sebagai Puteri Indonesia.
Sementara itu, dr. Cindy May MC.Guire (DKI Jakarta 5) terpilih sebagai Runner Up 1 sebagai Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan dan Adinda Cresheilla (Jawa Timur) terpilih menjadi Runner up 2 sebagai Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata. Puan pun mengucapkan selamat kepada seluruh pemenang.
“Secara khusus, saya mengucapkan selamat kepada Laksmi Shari De Nefee Suardana yang terpilih menjadi Puteri Indonesia 2022. Selamat mengemban tugas untuk mempromosikan Indonesia hingga ke kancah internasional,” ucap Puan.
Meski Laksmi keluar sebagai juara, perempuan pertama yang menjabat sebagai Ketua DPR RI itu menilai ke-44 finalis Puteri Indonesia merupakan pemenang. Puan mengatakan, mereka adalah perempuan-perempuan pilihan terbaik untuk daerahnya masing-masing.
“Seluruh finalis Puteri Indonesia 2022 adalah perempuan hebat yang datang dengan latar belakang luar biasa. Semuanya telah terbukti memiliki karya bagi bangsa dan masyarakat lewat caranya masing-masing,” sebut mantan Menko PMK itu.
Puan pun yakin, banyak perempuan muda Indonesia yang memiliki talenta serta keistimewaan seperti para finalis Puteri Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, menurutnya, perempuan-perempuan Indonesia harus mendapat lebih banyak ruang untuk mengekspresikan prestasi dan dedikasinya.
