Kegiatan Upacara di Taman Makam Pahlawan tersebut dihadiri oleh Para Pejabat Utama Polres Belitung Timur dan adapun peserta upacara Personil Gabungan Polres Belitung Timur serta Bhayangkari Cabang Belitung Timur.
Dalam kegiatan Upacara tersebut Kapolres Belitung Timur memimpin penghormatan kepada arwah Para Pahlawan dan peletakan karangan bunga di tugu Taman Makam Pahlawan ‘Murni’
Kapolres Belitung Timur AKBP Taufik Noor Isya, SIK kepada awak media mengatakan “Hari ini kita melaksanakan kegiatan Upacara dan ziarah di taman makam Pahlawan ‘Murni’ dan pelarungan bunga di Pelabuhan ASDP Manggar dalam rangka memperingati HUT Bhayangkara ke-76 tahun 2022.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian penghormatan kita bagi para pahlawan yang telah berjasa pada saat memperjuangkan kemerdekaan dan juga sekaligus untuk mengenang seluruh jasa dan perjuangan yang dilakukan oleh pahlawan tersebut. Kegiatan ini juga untuk mengigatkan kita sebagai orang yang hidup suatu saat kita juga akan meninggal.
Setelah kegiatan upacara selesai, dilanjutkan dengan acara tabur bunga di pusara Makam Pahlawan oleh Kapolres Belitung Timur dan diikuti oleh PJU dan Bayangkari Cabang Belitung Timur.(Ramli).
