JakartaBicara, Waropen – Yorgenes Derek Hegemur, SH, MH selaku Asisten III Bidang Umum dan Kesra Setda Provinsi Papua, menghadiri Pembukaan Sidang Sinode XVIII GKI di Kabupaten Waropen Provinsi Papua. Senin, (18/07/2020).
Dalam membacakan sambutan gubernur papua Lukas Enembe Asisten III mengatakan bahwa Sidang Sinode XVIII GKI Papua di waropen bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pelayanan Sinode selama 5 (lima) tahun dan juga mengadakan pemilihan ketua sinode GKI yang baru.
“Sidang Sinode XVIII GKI Papua bertujuan untuk dapat mengevaluasi dan kinerja pelayanan Sinode selama 5 (lima) tahun dan juga dapat mengadakan pemilihan kepada ketua sinode GKI Periode 2022-2027. Jelasnya Hegemur Asisten III provinsi papua.
Gubernur papua mengharapkan bahwa ketua Sinode GKI di Tanah Papua terpilih nantinya harus bersama-sama merangkai satu hati yang bangkit mandiri, sejahtera dan berkeadilan.
Pelaksanaan SS XVIII GKI di Waropen adalah momentum penting dalam mendiskusikan berbagai agenda penting dalam pelayanan GKI selama 5 tahun ke depan.
“Walaupun banyak provinsi di tanah Papua GKI tetap satu dalam rumah besar yaitu tanah Papua” Tegasnya Gubernur Papua.
Sementara itu melalui asisten I dalam membacakan sambutan Penjabat Gubernur Papua barat telah mengusulkan 4 (Empat) bidang diantaranya Bidang Aset, Bidang Regulasi, Manusia dan Uang yang menjadi perhatian yang harus di bahas dalam Sidang Sinode XVIII GKI di Waropen.
“Banyak aset tanah dan bangunan GKI yang luar biasa tetapi terbengkalai dan tidak di perhatikan atau dirawat”. Ucapnya Asisten I Provinsi Papua Barat.
