Kasat Reskrim Polres Keerom Iptu Jetny Sholiat, S.H., MH saat di konfirmasi menjelaskan bahwa penangkapan pelaku berawal dari adanya laporan sdr. Albert Sanadi ke Polres Keerom yang melaporkan bahwa Putrinya sudah 3 hari tidak pulang kerumah dan diduga dibawa lari oleh Pacarnya ke Wilayah Arso.
“Setelah menerima laporan tersebut kemudian kamu langsung mulai melakukan penyelidikan di lapangan, dan berhasil menangkap pelaku NM pada hari Sabtu (09/07) sore, di wilayah Kampung Kwimi Kabupaten Keerom,” ucap Kasat Reskrim.
Kasat Reskrim mengatakan saat pelaku kami amankan tidak melakukan perlawanan, sehingga anggota langsung segera mengamankan pelaku ke kantor guna mencegah amukan dari keluarga korban terhadap pelaku.
“NM melakukan penganiayaan terhadap seorang wanita yang berinisial MS (23), MS merupakan pacarnya sendiri yang mana tindakan penganiayaan itu terjadi di rumah 9 Kampung Kwimi yang merupakan rumah kerabat dari si pelaku,” jelas Kasat Reskrim.
Kepada Polisi, NM mengaku bahwa telah mengajak sang korban tinggal bersama dirumah kerabat pelaku yang berada di Kampung 9 dari hari Kamis (07/07), dari tindakan penganiayaan yang dilakukan, Korban menggalami luka lebam pada bagian mata dan luka pada pelipis, kini keluarga korban telah membuat Laporan Polisi dan melakukan Visum.
